Professor J.S. Perry Hobson has been the Editor–in-Chief of Journal of Vacation Marketing, published by Sage in London, (UK) for the last 20-years. In 2018, this Journal moved up in SSCI Tourism, Hospitality, Sport and Leisure category index to #21, and in the General Business category to #76. He is a Professor and the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement at Sunway University (Malaysia) which comes under the Jeffery Cheah Foundation, and part of the Sunway Education Group (SEG). Professor Hobson in also engaged in several professional service activities and serves on the International Advisory Board for Ostrava University (The Czech Republic), is an Adjunct Professor at MCi in Innsbruck (Austria) and also a member of the Board of Directors of the International Centre of Excellence in Hospitality & Tourism Education (THE-ICE) international accreditation body (Australia).
